NBAR as the name implies, is able to recognize applications. It goes beyond
layer 4 info to do that.

Subject: TFTP QOS with NBAR

TFTP only uses port 69 in it's initial packet. Does NBAR montior a rnage of
ports or just port 69. If it doesn't monitor other ports how does it know
to distinguish TFTP packets with ports other then 69. Is NBAR useless as
far as TFTP is concerned.
