Alex, I think the best bet for current multicast information is CCO. Seems
like most of the major MC books are older. I love Williamson's book but
agree that we need to supplement it with current MC options, just like the
old Kennedy Clark switching book from 1999. ;-)

Yeh,

Read that book several times. I just seem to get asked to do things in
practical labs that I can't find anything that covers most of it. Igmp
proxy registration for example.

Have you looked at Doyle Volume II Second Edition? Wendall Odom also
has
fair coverage in his Multicasting section of the CCIE R&S Qualification
guide.

Scott Morris also wrote the labs in Chapter 3 of the Solie book CCIE
Practical Studies volume II.
