RE: Seat availability

I think it says someplace that seats are only released and made available
180 days in the future. So putting a date into 2009 won't help because they
won't exist yet. Not that they are taken, they just don't exist!

Subject: Seat availability

Greetings,

I sifted through the latest thread-regarding increased price for the lab,
and only saw some marginal information re: availability of lab dates.

I've been trying since last week to book a lab at *any* site reasonable for
me to get to (I'm in NY, so I've tried RTP, San Jose, Brussels; I've also
tried a few random locations, exactly which now escapes me). I am yet to get
ANY available dates...I only get the generic "The date you have chosen is
not available at this time" or similar, For each and every occasion. I've
tried dates from now until late 2009! Not even a few alternate dates are
shown, as was the standard in the past.

I called Training and Certifications line, and they said that this is
normal, that others have called and complained, even stating my "random
attempts at global locations for various futuristic dates" was very similar
to complaints received from a recent caller. I still say something is wrong,
as they at least should be giving alternative dates for each location.

Anybody else experiencing this problem? Is the world's worth of testing
locations indeed booked until 2010 and beyond? Thanks in advance!
Yours,
Sean Geist
