difficult, if not impossible to stop, for those willing to stoop to that

#3 doesn't happen so often anymore, because of #1
#1 wasn't as big of an issue when the lab was 2 days. Because day 1 was
spent getting everything put together so you could actual start. If you had
never worked with DB60 cables, and you got the highly used cables that could
go on upside down. You may not have even made it to day 2.
6 months between gives you plenty of capacity to pursue multiple CCIE's all
at the same time. :-)
