About a year ago i was on the same boat as you are on now. i.e. CCIE or
Masters degree :)
I thought about it in many ways and came up with an idea that end of the day
CCIE is a vendor certification and expires!!

So I made a wise decision and went for "Masters" degree first in
"Networking". Finished it in one year and now resumed CCIE.

There are many online university who are offering your existing work
experience and qualification and give you credit for those in Uni subjects.
