Gregory,
I guess I take that back but I have to admit that I have been sloppy on one
small field installation where as far as I remember, I had conflict logging
which just showed up in the syslog file. I guess that is not proper
practice.
Sometimes these "required steps" means (not a good idea without or just
won't work without).
