Usually ctrl-shift-6 works but there are cases where it doesn't. It could
also depend on your terminal client passing the keystrokes correctly so just
give it a try. Sometimes I've had to hit it three times in succession also.

Subject: breaking into a traceroute

Hey Guys,

Im not sure if I have seen this done in the past, but something tells me I
have...

Please is there a break sequence to stop a traceroute that has started going
on to an unreachable host so that I dont have to wait for the default 30
retries?

Thank in advance!

Sadiq
