Note the Avaya IP phone boot process and I think there's something in there
about how to do some displays on the Avaya instrument itself...

Subject: Cisco and Avaya Integration
Hi Group,
I am working on an implementation involving Avaya and Cisco. I have some
issues for which I need your help/advise.
I enabled the dot1q port on the cisco switches and enabled voice vlan as 50
and native vlan as 10. When I plug my laptop to this port I get an IP
through DHCP. (DHCP is running on the core switch).
When I plug the Avaya phone it does not get an IP, however if I configure a
static IP on the phone it works fine.
I need to get the DHCP IP for Avaya phone am I missing something ? Is there
any option field to be enabled for Avaya ?
Regards,
