Hi all,
I've spent better than a month now crawling through IEWB#1. At this point,
I've likely forgotten much of what I learned in the earlier sections, LOL!
No doubt I'll be doing all of the Catalyst stuff over again before moving on
to IEWB#2. I bought a mess of brand-spanking-new switches; aint leaving any
switching points behind in that lab!!
I'm currently in the final few major sections of #1. I am taking a break
here at the outset of QoS to read Odom's QoS Cert Guide. Frankly, I hope I
like it more than the CCIE Written Cert Guide. Wasn't as crazy about that
as many others seem to be. Not bad, not great. Any other good
recommendations? Or is this sufficient if read and played with in the lab
from cover to cover?
I guess I'll also be doing a complete re-read of Williamson's Developing IP
Multicast Networks when I get to the Mcast section. This is a bit dated,
but seems to still be what folks are recommending. Again, open to
suggestions.
This volume wraps up with security. Not a strong suit of mine and I really
don't have any good books sitting on any of my shelves. Definitely am
soliciting input on this topic!! And for once, I'm planning to order
something more than a day or two before I need it, LOL. So tired of paying
for expedited shipping for books!
Thanks all,
Scott
