The loopback address we aren't anycasting...
i.e

each device will have 2 loopbacks; one /32 that is chosen by hosts based on
proximity in the IGP, the other not part of Multicast they send unicast's to
each other on via MSDP peering...

Subject: IP MSDP Originator-ID - Anycast RP

Hey guys,

This is getting me abit confused.

When configurring MSDP, what interface do we use as the originator-id
for the msdp peering please?

Is is going to be the interface for the redundant RP, or is it the
source interface for the MSDP peering please? All text I am seeing
seems abit inconsistent....

Thanks

Sadiq
