Felix,
Swapping SFP's, moving to a different port and enabling UDLD may help if the
issue is a Layer 1 issue. But looking at your config, i'm unsure why you
have storm control enabled on the 3750. Since this is a Layer 3 link &
unless you have directed broadcast enabled (not visible in the config)
, there's minimal to no chance of broadcast traffic traversing this link.
Multicast on the other hand is a different issue since you have OSPF
config'ed on this link. Have you tried removing the storm control configs
from the 3750 or perhaps setting them to a higher value to see if it makes a
difference?
Could it be that OSPF multicasts are tipping the threshold over and making
the port block unicasts all the way upto Mcast?. Sounds unlikley, but i'd
try to simplify the config if i were you. Storm control by default doesn't
generate a message and just filters the traffic if thresholds are exceeded.
Just a thought...
