Etherchannel load balance

Hi,

Just want to know if i am wrong/right on my theory of etherchannel load
balance,

If i configured layer2 ether-channel in my topology - and can I do load
balance just based on- src-mac (default) dst-mac, src-dst mac. is this
correct?

If i configure layer3 etherchannel configured in my topology - and can load
balance - src-mac, src-ip, dst-ip, and src-dst-ip. Is this correct?

Any input?
