You should have other instructions that may lead you to one path or the
next. It could be as blatant as "don't use subinterfaces" or other things
like use "only this subnet" (not breaking for P2P).

If they give you no such instructions, I'd say it would likely be up to you.
Chances are you will have limited use of P2P in the real lab though, because
that takes all the fun away! And fun is what the CCIE lab is all about!

Subject: Ipexpert lab FR question

Hello all,

I'm doing ipexpert labs in dynamips,
and sometimes they don't tell you if you have to use point-to-point sub
interface or multipoint subinterface.
and if they don't say I always prefer to use point-to-point.
but then I see in answers they had used multipoint.

does that matter in a real lab.

I guess if there's something they don't tell you exactly to do, for example
if they just say, you have to use subinterface for this FR connection, and
don't say ptp or multipoint, I guess I'm free to choose for myself???

and as well, let's say they don't tell you if FR connection needs to support
broadcast traffic or not.
I always use broadcast keyword anyway, I guess it's fine too unless they
explicitly prohibit me to use frame-relay map ip broadcast....

I hope these questions don't make you break NDA, they are pretty general.

Good luck to all and thanks,
