Thanks for this info Joseph, i ran into the same issue last week, but
only had to work around it by not tunneling pagp (l2protocol-tunnel
point-to-point pagp)....so instead i configred it as a normal dot1q
tunnel, while i configured the end as a normal pagp channel...

But one question, when do u reckon is right to use l2protocol-tunnel
point-to-point pagp and not just a normal, and simple dot1q tunnel?

Both seem to work....
