The issue here is that you want to get your CCVP, and to get that
certification you need to have a valid CCNA. It does not matter if you have
the CCIE or you have passed the written. To get your CCIE you don't need to
have CCVP and/or CCNA. Just take the test and finish it up, but don't take
any test lightly.
