Hi All,
I have been reading thru some labs & answer scenarios....one thing
that sticks is what I believe to be "rip native" routes.
Would it be accurate in saying rip native or any RP's native routes
are those learned before redistribution?
Here is a section of some rip native routes that need the distance
manipulated:
ip access-list standard RIP-distance
permit 3.3.3.0
permit 4.4.4.0
permit 5.0.0.0
permit 172.16.255.0
permit 172.16.234.0
permit 172.16.110.0
permit 172.16.104.0
permit 172.16.64.0
!
I was working thru the lab scenario and did this:
R2#sho ip route rip | in via
R 3.3.3.0 [120/1] via 172.16.234.3, 00:00:02, Serial1/0.234
R 4.4.4.0 [120/1] via 172.16.234.4, 00:00:04, Serial1/0.234
R 5.5.5.0 [120/2] via 172.16.234.3, 00:00:02, Serial1/0.234
R 172.16.255.0/24 [120/1] via 172.16.234.3, 00:00:02, Serial1/0.234
R 172.16.110.0/24 [120/2] via 172.16.234.4, 00:00:04, Serial1/0.234
R 172.16.104.0/24 [120/1] via 172.16.234.4, 00:00:04, Serial1/0.234
R 172.16.64.0/24 [120/1] via 172.16.234.4, 00:00:04, Serial1/0.234
R2#
to 100% verify my hypothesis....that being the case to find a native
route, an accurate method would be
show ip route [protocol] | in via
any inputs welcomed...heresies and flames uincast please :-)
