Apart from an IOS bug, perhaps your terminal emulation settings have been
changed or not setup correctly? Is this a new TeraTerm install or an
existing one? Can you telnet to another similar Cisco device without issue?

Subject: Router Display---strange problem
Hi group,
While working on a fault, we have come across an unusual issue with the
router's display. I accessed the router via vty line and found that all the
characters are left-aligned without any spaces in between. Router is running
IOS version 12.4(9)T. But when I am accessing the router from the console, I
am not facing any issues. Please see the below excerpts from the router
while accesing through Tera Term Telnet.
