Well actually it is being advertised. The > means best route, if it's in
the BGP table it's being advertised somwhere Since the network was not in
the routing table, and I couldn't ping that network. I knew there was some
issue. I just needed to walk away for a bit. I actually figured it out..
redistribute connected or next-hop-self. I got a little confused and was
treating the sub AS's like they were actually in different AS's when they
are actually in the same AS. You'll notice for AS 65013 I have the
next-hop-self.. "The next hop attribute is preserved acroos the
confederation". I read that and still didn't get it duh The funny part is
that it's wrong in Internetwork experts answer config. Thanks for the help.
