RE: Brian McGahan's CCIE-SP Online Training ..........

One thing I would like to highlight about free stuff is that you will
get only outdated material (100% outdated) from these sites. And 99.99%
chances are that you will fail CCIE lab by reading these outdated
materials.

One good example is Peter Morgan who has passed last week after his 4th
Attempt. He said that previously he was using all outdated stuff from
these free sites and failed 3 times. And, finally he purchased (got free
;-)) and used latest version from IEWB and passed.

Listing off the pirate sites does not do the vendors a favor here. You
are meaning free as in "microsoft free" aka stolen :) I am sure some
people are seeing the humor in my jokes and not taking it literally. I
have (that or my previous employer) purchased all of the materials I
used to get my IE. I would certainly not turn down any donations, but
free and pirated are two different animals. You dont get updates with
the pirated stuff :P

Who are looking for FREE stuff....... Can go to Sadikhov,
net130,
Testking and many more chinese/paki/korean/russian sites.

Pls do not ask for any free stuff here...

We should appreciate people like Brian(s), Scott, Roman, Narbick
who are
doing really great by making Workbooks/CODs. It's a reward for
their
hardwork if we buy their stuffs. I am wondring how free stuff
sites will
survive if all TOP vendors stop making Workbooks/COD etc.

... and here we go again...

I agree with Scott. His opinion is not skewed. If somebody wants
to
share his enthousiasm about a certain vendor's course then let
him. If
somebody else thinks he's better at it, then that's his opinion.
There
is no need to be rude about it, especially if you're a CCIE5
(who should
        know better).

And PLEASE can we stop any remarks about FREE stuff. I joined
this
mailing list to be informed by technical challenges and get a
sense of
motivation by fellow brothers on their road to CCIE and learn
from the
senior CCIE-ers. I did not join to be bombarded by emails about
people
trying to get a free ride, nor read emails about senior fellows
of our
CCIE community having a go at each other.

If this is what GroupStudy has becoming then we might as well
pull the
        plug on it.

And no, I am not affiliated with any sort of vendor.

        Thanks
        Marc
