RE: Workbook's Labs Approach

On a side note, you can still obtain value from labs that you have
essentially "memorized" the answers for. Go through them again and pretend
you know nothing. Force yourself to look up EVERYTHING on the DocCD. The
good part is that you know the answers, so you'll know when you find it.

It's a slow way to go, but the point is skills with the DocCD. It's a value
well spent!

Just my thoughts...

You may want to consider only doing a few full scale labs but do them each
multiple times (i.e. 4 or 5). You'll find that this can help increase your
speed and accuracy (correct configuration). The first time you do a lab
target getting it done in 7 hours. The second time 6 hours. The 3rd time 5
hours and the 4th/5th times 4 hours.

We see a lot of people using this approach to pass and they are only doing
5 or 6 full-scale labs before they sit the real lab. But they do those labs
over and over until they can do them without thinking. The only drawback to
this approach is that you should be proficient with the DocCD because you
will not have been exposed to as many topics as someone who has done say 20+
labs. The big benefit of this approach is that you will should be able to
get full IP reachability within the first few hours of the lab and have
plenty of time to complete the remaining portions of the lab.

If you are able to always get complete IP reachability within the first 2
1/2 to 3 1/2 hours of a full scale lab then this approach isn't needed.
