I was told in person, and from a respectable person I believe that he did.
And he passed for precisely that reason.
I thought long and hard about this situation. Then I remembered my boss
telling me the triumph of passing his CCIE and what it meant to him
personally.
I would stand up and tell the proctor. If he tells me, go back to it, then
it's fair. Otherwise it's not going to go down that way.
