Hello everybody,
Is there any utility that I can use to check the MTU size on all the
devices from some source to destination?
For example, in Extended Ping you can set the packet size. I can reach
from a particular source to a destination if I use packet size 1000,
but if I make it 1100 all the packets get dropped.....but Ping does
not tell you which hop is dropping the packets...
In Extended traceroute, there is no option of setting the packet size
and even if some device has smaller MTU size traceroute will adjust
the packet size for its packets to pass through that device.
So, I am looking for some way/utility to find the MTU size on all the
devices a packet passes from some source to a destinantion.
I appreciate any help in this regard.
