Hello Soon and all,
For me the Name are for identifying an internal spanning tree (IST) within a common and Internal spanning tree (CIST)...so if you have one region (IST) it should be ok not to use names.....
Please correct me if i am wrong!

Dear all,
4 switches to be in mst:
Config as below:
spanning-tree mode mst
spanning-tree mst configuration
instance 1 vlan 1-10
instance 2 vlan 11-20
revision 2
name CCIE
Question:
***********
Do both commands "revision 2 " and "name CCIE" must be configured?
I see some vendor solution is without them. But, CiscoDOC has both commands.
Appreciate your advice.
Thank you.
