I agree with TFash 150%. I had the bad habit of working the core
technologies to death, even though I already had them down. I think it's
natural human tendency to be pulled toward the areas we find easiest, and
the lab will exploit that tendency. Multicast has always been my biggest
road block, but I thought I could get by with a basic understanding. After
goose-eggs under mcast on my first two attempts, I had to force myself to
bear down and get a full understanding. It paid off.
Stay fresh on the core areas, but focus your efforts (80-90% of your study
time) on multicast and security. For IP services, I would just make sure
you're VERY familier with the DocCD. There's too much stuff they could ask
on, but it's really not too difficult. Most of the time, you can find the
solution on the CD if you can navigate it quickly.
