Why not get your master's degree in Information technology?
These cert's have a short half-life... If you have a wife and child, or want
one, they are going to cost you tens of hundreds of thousands of dollars
over their time with you (my new "task" wording of $1+M).
You can't give your baby's momma a Gucci Prada, if you're still working
making nada.

Subject: Re: What next after CCIE R&S
CISA is for IT security auditors. Nothing technical, just paperwork.
Believe me, it's very, very boring - I've been there.
CCIE SP is cool, but it has a meaning for the ISP guys. The downside
is that ISP employers apparently do not pay extra for CCIE. But it is
the closest to R&S if you want to become a double CCIE.
CISSP is my best bet. It's the closest match to what you are planning
to do - but it's not too practical. I am also planning to get this
sometime next year, but for no particular reason - just nice to have.
Just my 2 cents.
