In the past year, I have had two clients who inquired about enterprise MPLS,
mainly because they wanted FRR (SONET on the cheap!) but for other murky
reasons too. They both had a substantial existing T-carrier serial leased
line infrastructure and wanted to know how to go about deploying MPLS over
top of it. It didn't work out for either client, but the interest was
there.
Also, MPLS is very definitely a part of the written v3.0 blueprint. Doesn't
Cisco typically migrate technologies into the CCIE lab by way of the
written?
