I have no problems with 12 dynamips instances at this hardware:
CPU: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU 3050 @ 2.13GHz (2133.42-MHz 686-class
CPU)
real memory = 2145812480 (2046 MB)
Nearly 3 seconds or less for "show run" command.
