I recently bought four of these and they are no different from others in the
series; you can download Enterprise code no problem.

As for their applicability, I personally think they're great, but would love
also to hear from the "training folk" on the issue. I've only had mine for
a week, so I can't speak with great authority. I can tell you that I've
found a pretty good system for matching to the IEWB topology without the
need for very much re-cabling (although there will be some). I REALLY wish
Cisco made a 12-port model of this switch, but 9 is doable. Eight would
have been a problem, so thankfully that gig port is either/or SFP or RJ-45!!

Regards,

Scott

I did a quick search on CCO and didn't find a special image
for the 3560 8 port nor was it listed seperately when
performing an image comparison. Given those results it
would seem the 8 port has similar IOS capabilities to the
other 3560 models (3560E excluded of course).

Thanks,

Ian
