Adham,
The reason you get the error is because since you can not configure both
ends at the same time the switch detects a channel misconfig and puts the
interface in an error disable state.
As soon as you have both ends configured correctly you can do a shut no shut
on the ports and that should bring them up.
You can also enable errordisable recovery for channel-misconfig since the
default is disabled for error disable recovery
