Howdy I was wondering when viewing the ospf topology database and viewing
the external type 5 lsa section , say I see a given set of prefixes
learned from multiple ADV routers , can you tell by either the AGE or SEQ#
which is preferred ? I know obviously you can determine the winner by now
viewing the source winner in the main ip routing table , but I was curios
is say the higher age number is the preferred winner eg:

          Type-5 AS External Link States

Link ID ADV Router Age Seq# Checksum Tag
172.16.16.0 172.16.101.1 1962 0x80000002 0x00515E 0
172.16.16.0 172.16.103.1 143 0x80000001 0x00C16D 0
172.16.17.0 172.16.101.1 1965 0x80000002 0x004668 0
172.16.17.0 172.16.103.1 154 0x80000001 0x00B677 0

I know that the preferred router is the 101.1 for the 172.16.16.0 path and
so is 101.1 the winner for the 172.16.17.0 path by viewing the ip routing
table , and it seems to look like if the AGE is larger that matches , just
never heard or read that , just an observation I was wondering about.
