At the end of the day it's a personal decision as to which method works
best for you as an individual. If you are going to take five or six pages
of just pure "notes" then pencil and paper should work fine but if you
have hundreds of pages (saved configs, debug outputs, notes, etc) then
using pencil and paper won't really work.
