People say, after finding out the DLCIs change the encapsulation to either
PPP or HDLC to clear out all the DLCIs. And keep the interface shut, apply
all the no frame-relay inverse-arp ip commands and no shut. I could not get
this working. So I don't bother changing the encapsulation. Apply all the
configuration and restart the router, and you will have only the required
DLCIs applied on the interface. I found this is the most effective way and
works all the time.

Subject: Re: Q on Frame-Relay Inverse-Arp ....
I just want to check the sequence of steps are right ... I don't have the
commands I put in on the day I did the lab ....
Is the steps right ?
Here is what I did :-
1) Shutdown the interface 2) Disable frame-relay inverse-arp with the
command 'no frame-relay inverse-arp'. 3) Bring back the interface up with a
'no shut'. 4) Clear inarp on the intrerface with the command 'clear
frame-relay inverse-arp'. 5) Do a 'sh frame-relay pvc | inc DLCI' 6)
Disable the inverse-ARP for the unused DLCI's 7) Reenable inverse-arp for
the whole interface with the command 'frame-relay inverse-arp'.
Thank you,
