Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

I have read that from the Command reference as follows for "Ip ospf
demand-circuit"

"Periodic hello messages are suppressed and periodic refreshes of link-state
advertisements (LSAs) do not flood the demand circuit. This command allows
the underlying data link layer to be closed when the topology is stable. In
point-to-multipoint topology, only the multipoint end must configured with
this command."

So as i understand from the above, "ip ospf demand-circuit" command can also
be applied ,
if the requirement is to reduce the LSA refresh every 30mins. I have
observed the "Donot Age LSA entry in the " show ip ospf int " output for
interfaces enabled with "ip ospf demand circuit".

It will be helpful if any of the experts in the group can clarify the
difference in the commands.

Regards
Shamin
