I'd be interested in knowing how the enquiry was made other than posting to
an R&S board where the "true" voice guys don't typically hang out.
Also, being that it's 10am in the US (EST) now, if you posted 12 hours ago,
I'd also EXPECT that there wouldn't be a response yet. Some people do
sleep.
I have, however, forwarded your message on to our voice guys, the ones who
design the racks and classes and books to give you a more detailed answer.
Off the top of my head, I don't see why the XM's would not work, but my
brain is not yet fully engaged in the voice stuff to answer that with
confidence. 2811's I know will work as that's what we use in our pods.
They'll give you more memory/cpu to work with as well.
But if you expect immediate answers in an R&S forum to voice questions, I
think you'll be disappointed more often than not no matter which vendor you
choose to go with.
Just my two cents,

Subject: Re: 2600 XM for voice LAB
Hi Mohammed,
already 12 hours to your posting and no reply yet..... hum........
I wasted bit of time in selecting home lab hardware. I hope this will help
you.
Here you won't get much reply for this. All workbook vendor are not int
rested in replying this type of query except "ccbootcamp". I hope Brad from
CCBOOTCAMP will answer this post too.
Dont' get me wrong, I don't work for any vendor.
I enquired with IPEXPERT, ccvoicebootcamp (canada) and other vendors.
They never replied to my questions.
I was actually thinking to buy ipexpert's voice workbook but now since they
didn't replied to my post, not going to buy. I doubt if their support will
be any good. Starting is bad ...................
Still not finallize my workbook vendor but ............. soon...
I am waiting for my lab gear to arrive first..
