I'm running 13+ routers (3640) on a Dell 2650, dual CPU hyperthreading
2.66GHz

Sits around 60% CPU with all OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, RIP etc

I manage to run 10 routers (3640) simultaenously most of the times with
full throttle (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP etc). However, sometimes, it crashes
though.

I have following conf:

CPU: Centrino Duo (1.66GHz)
RAM: 1GB
