interesting bug on 2950

I just have found interesting bug on 2950.

here is the scenario.

3550 ---------2950

3550 and 2950 have 201 and 202 vlans.
2950 can only have one vlan up at a given time. but I can ping both SVI
interface vlan 201 and 202 in 3550 from 2950 even I saw that interface vlan
201 on 2950 is down!!!

sometimes I can ,some times I cannot ping!! it's seasonal!
