yeah.

you can do some of it..

there are plenty..

eg. when creating vlans you have to create a vlan database

to show your vlans you have to do a sh vlan-sw. To do vtp you have to do
that under the vlan database.
There are limitations with etherchannels, and loads of other stuff.

Its best to get some rack time and practice on real switches and you can use
dynamips for the rest. Closer to you lab date try and use the real thing
with rack rentals.
