I am guessing that I had around 60 pts but it should have been more :P

From 2003 to 2005 I went through several IPExpert and NLI workbooks on
my own home Lab (I even had an LS1010 for ATM). In 2006 I started using
online racks because I needed access to 2800 routers with the 12.4 IOS.
Earlier this year I took a bootcamp through NLI (Narbik was the
instructor).

I took it 8 times. Don't give up. Did you go to netmasters? Did you do
all
of the doit labs twice? I am surprised that you finished three hours
early.
Do you know your score break out? Do you have an estimated number of
points? Did you write out the lab as soon as you left?

I took my lab for the 8th time yesterday and I left feeling pretty good
about my attempt but when the score report came out it was a fail.
During the lab I was able to finish all configurations 3 hours early and
then checked and double checked all the requirements. I thought I nailed
Switching, IGP, and EGP but my scores were very low in the IGP section.
The proctors at the location where I took my lab were not that very
helpful. In fact one of them was downright terrible. I like to ask for
clarification on all items I am unsure about and every time I went to
this proctor to ask questions he would roll his eyes and let out a sigh.
It was almost as if I was bothering him to ask questions! By the end of
the day I would come to him with my two options to configure a certain
task and he would just tell me that I could do it both ways and not
loose points. Well I now believe that cost me at least a few points.
Overall I am not happy with the CCIE track and I think I am going to
throw in the towel because I can no longer afford to keep taking this
exam and failing.

Joe
