"peer default ip address dhcp" vs. "ip helper-address"?

Experts,
R4 is connected to R5 via PPP. Question askes to configure R4 to obtain IP
address from R5 which obtains the IP from a remote DHCP server.

The question asks not to use ip helper-address to accomplish it. I know the
answer to use "peer default ip address dhcp" on R5 and "ip address
negotiated" on R4.

I am wondering how can we accomplish it using ip helper-address.
