Still, they lose a ton of money each minute the website is unavailable
according to one of the security breakouts I attended at Networkers, which
mentioned this as a side note during a discussion on Cisco's internal
security. Don't remember the dollar amount but it was huge.

Cisco is not limited to its web presence. They do have telephones.
Customers have more than one way to reach them. In the grand scheme, the
web presence merely makes things easier for Cisco, as opposed to making them
possible in the first place. Given that justification, making the web
presence invulnerable is more expensive than it is worth.
