sami,

My undestending is that after you register (CCO partner register via your
CCO logon ID) and leave the company for another partner

they can keep the number for a year which means sometimes thousands or
millions of dollars for them as you help them get discounts from Cisco.

If you like this company and they are fair with you then go ahead and
associate yourself with the company, however if you consider that a legal
clause that spells that if for whatever reason you leave the company they
most release the number then go ahead and do it.

The problem is that you dont really want to start a working relationship
with legal stuff. My recommendation is if they help you, yes go ahead
and register, if they are jerks and all they want is the number then to
hell with them, dont register and look for another job.

Jojo
