In my experience you can save the notepad file to your desktop. However,
the PCs are setup to use mandatory profiles so if they reboot then the
desktop reverts to a blank original and the saved files will be lost.

So you can save them as long as the PC is not rebooted (which it
shouldn't unless you have an issue).

Regarding #3, will they allow you to save the text files to the lab
computer?
I would think they would not...considering you could see other
people's config files...

Can someone conform this?
