Experience / Skills Required:
4-7 years experience thorough in Internetworking Technologies including routing,
switching, network security, layer-2 protocols, wireless, etc. Prior experience with
network test tools, SNMP-based network management tools, or telephony applications is a
plus. Candidate should have previous experience with Network test equipment - Spirent
Test Center, Agilent N2X, SmartBits, Abacus etc. Previous experience with test management
packages like Quality Center and automation using TCL scripting is a big plus.
Job Duties: Design, plan, and execute tests in a laboratory environment to discover
defects in product hardware and software as quickly and as efficiently as possible.
Characterize issues identified and work with Engineering on possible solutions. Automate
specified test candidates using TCL, Visual basic etc. Candidates must demonstrate good
communications skills and ability to work well in a team environment as well as a high
level of motivation and professionalism.
Education: BSEE, BSCPE, BSMIS, or ASEE. CCNP, CCIE are a plus.
