Interpreting HSRP question

Hi All,

I have a HSRP question phrased as follows:

(1) Configure R5 & R6 with a virtual IP address of 10.10.10.1

(2) R5 should be the primary default gateway. However, if the line protocol
on the Serial0/0/0 interface should fail, R6 should resume the
responsibilities.

(3) Once a change to the active state of the router is detected, the
mac-cache should be refreshed using the virtual mac address of
AAAA.AAAA.AAAA.

To answer question (3), I think I will only configure the command "standby
mac-address aaaa.aaaa.aaaa" on R6. The virtual mac address on R5 should use
the default of 0000.0c07.acxx. If R5 loses the active role, it will "follow"
the virtual mac address of R6, i.e. aaaa.aaaa.aaaa. Does this answer the
question accurately or should I approach the proctor?

Any thoughts?

Thank you.

B.Rgds,
Lim TS
