Re: diagrams in the exam

Hi,

My current practice, I draw my own diagrams for every lab I do in the
workbook. I draw the IGP domains, BGP ASes, frame relay PVCs, etc in my own
diagrams, using different color pens.

By the way, are color pens/pencils provided in the actual lab? Secondly (I
hope this is not a violation of NDA), what sort of diagrams are provided to
us? Physical, logical, together with a table of IP addresses, VLANs, etc? In
my lab workbook, only physical diagrams are provided with a table of VLANs
and IP addresses. I'm expected to map out the logical aspects of the network
myself. This is also one reason I draw my own diagrams.

Final question: Are we expected to cable the equipment in the rack,
configure the FR switch and IP addresses? Again, if this is violating NDA,
kindly do not answer.

I just want to understand the lab environment better.

Please advise.

Thank you.

B.Rgds,
Lim TS
