3550 explicitly says each egress queue holds 100 frames by default.
And if you look at the figures, cross reference, a buffer is a frame
worth of data.
3560 is just very up tight about the actual size of each queue.
3560's WTD section mentions an "example" queue of 1000 frames.
Is that the actual size? They only let us configure relative
distribution of the queue size,
mls qos queue-set output qset-id buffers allocation1 ... allocation4
How do we ever design something if we aren't even sure the
actual size of a queue we need to change ?
