I seems that VTP pruning take into consideration RSPAN presence. In this
document, Cisco recommand using VTP pruning in order to use RSAPN
effeciently:

Thats a good question Pat. Doccd is not clear on the criteria ios uses
to prune the rspan vlan from trunks. Has anyone come across more
information on this one?
