Dear all,

Was trying the "ip multicast boundary" with the option "filter-autorp" to filter specific Auto-RP-discovery packets before reaching router IE6 ... i tried the command in IE5 in the below topo..

                           IE3-----(a)IE5(b)------IE6

1-When i applied the command in IE5's interface (a) it worked with no problem thus IE6 wasn't able to find RP for the groups i denied...
2-When i applied the command in IE5's interface (b) , the filter had no effect and IE6 was able to know the RP for the denied groups!!

So does this mean "ip multicast boundary [filter-autorp]..." works in the 'in' direction only or it is just a BUG?!!!

  Thank you in advance.

  Regards,
  Adham...
