RE: Is SecureCRT the lab terminal app?

I wouldn't count on having the latest and greatest versions of
software on the lab PC's. If you don't want multiple windows just
access all devices from the terminal server's console. This way you can
have only one window, but quickly switch between devices with the
crtl-shift-6 x escape sequence.

Also what I usually do is map a key inside securecrt to the
escape sequence. I use the upper right-most key, which is usually the
minus key on the number pad. When securecrt is open go to Options >
Session Options > Terminal > Emulation > Mapped Keys > Map a Key. Press
the key you want to map it to, then under the "Send String" box select
it and hit ctrl-shift-6 x. Along with doing this I would recommend to
set the scrollback buffer to it's maximum. This is under Options >
Session Options > Terminal > Emulation.

Hello group,

Can someone tell me if the secureCRT version is use supports tabs
(Brussels
Lab Center)? I don't like the idea of having 10 windows to control 10
devices. And if they have WindowsXP to group similar taskbar buttons,
it's a
mess. In this case, are we able to change this ?

Thanks,
Antonio
