Don't think IIS has anything to do with version 5.0, its Linux based ...

Have you verified the installation media before the install?
Can you ssh to the cli?

It looks like something is not being installed since it should work out of the
box
 if the installation is successful.

Have installed version 5.0 on vmware server 1.0.1 with no issues so it should
work.
You will still have to resolve the licensing since vmware mac address will not
be
 accepted on Cisco's licensing tool.
